VIRUS???

Whenever I surf the internet a virus is found on PC.The name of the virus is Download.Trojan . Where can I get more info on it??
Secondly,whenever I m connected 2 internet..Simultaneously 2 inetrnet explorer window automatically opens up.I don't open them as I use Opera 2 browse net.

Plz. help!!

Update ur antivirus & run a thorough scan of your harddisk. Leave nothing to chance. Install firewall, anti adware programs. Blast everything & anything that even remotely looks like scumware. press cntrl-alt-del. Check what processes are running. Look for some unknown processes which u don't seem to have started. In short do everything. And last but not least, pray that u don't have to format ur HDD

if u mean ur msg pops up only while surfing
then ur visiting some naughty sites which attempt to install trojans on ur pc
also post ur hijack this log file after a thorough scan with adaware and ms antispyware

In Opera, go to Tools>Quick Preference and select "Block Unwanted Popups".

That Download.Trojan is a Trojan Horse, it connects to a specific site and downloads 'new' trojans and execute them...
First get this Trojan Remover software and scan ur system.

Also get an updated AntiVirus and install AdAware,SpyBot SnD and SwatIt in ur system, check my signature doen below for links...and perform a full system scan.

That's for the Trojan .What about 2 IE windows that open up. I dont visit any naughty sites. Don't know how this trojan got through my PC!!

RESET your IE to default settings first. Then run adware (configure adware to check for IE helper objects ) or use SpyBot SnD. And see if y can find any unwanted BHOs or other registry settings ( be carefull before u remove registry entries, remove them after taking a backup of the registry.) Go to control panel --> add remove programs -- and check to see if any program is installed there which u never installed (this happens sometimes when u are on the internet , programs installs themselves as helper objects with out asking you first, but they turn out to be trojan horses or spywares.) or simply a good program but not compatible with your version of windows.

Use Google Toolbar for IE to block popups.

I do have two CDs of viruses!!!!
