Video converting software with support for many formats

Any one please tell me any good software that can convert videos.
I know there are millions of them out there but I want the best with support for most formats like mpeg,avi,divx,xvid etc.

Super is the only freeware converter which works real good.

But I've to agree with ChotoCheeta regd Xilisoft.

Although it is a real good converter.. Super hangs up sometimes while converting(maybe with disrupted/corrupted media files), but Xilisoft rox... it rarely hangs up during conversion(never happened to me), is real fast & vastly configurable... paidware though
I found it extremely useful for video conversions to my N95 8GB.

For more converters, TMPGEnc is good & also WinAVI (the fastest in the business)


BTW... I've a doubt of my own.. any all-media(esp vob, mp4, wmv, rm...) converter which could edit any file too... (dont gimme names like Ulead, TMPGEnc... i tried them all... dont support editing(cut/paste) some files.. I want an all-in-one utility)
