Very Urgent help Needed!!

Kindly Help to recover my very important office data files in .xls and .doc format. Actually, my office pc which is an HP Compaq 8100 Elite PC. on which i accidently run windows recovery. i kept all my data backup in a seprate partion, but after recovery the partion got merged back to the original partion and all my file got lost. plz help me to at least recover my lost files.

Hi,Same thing happened with me ..I dont remember what I did but few partitions were merged...All my fathers Office work data was lost

A friend of mine said -use : 'Stellar Phoenix NTFS Data Recovery'. and believe me It gave me data AS IT WAS.
Go to the Partition recovery option and run the process ...processing , it will show you the Size's of all partitions,
Select the Partition's that were merged/lost and start recovery .

It will take good amount of time like 2+ hrs or maybe more.. but you will get your data Folders by folders

I don't need the partition fully to be recovered. I only need my doc and xls files be restored. I used recover my files software by get data but it is only showing the files. It is not a freeware. It's showing to purchase it. To save files. Please provide any alternative

Although Stellar Phoenix NTFS Data Recovery is a great tool, if you don't want to buy or p!rate it, you can try Recuva undelete application.
It's also a good tool.

Just don't let the pc perform any kind of disk check / disk cleaning / defragmentation etc, which might overwrite the data.

Try getting hold of "Ontrack Easy Recovery Professional" if you can... It is much better than most other recovery software (only problem, not freeware).

Also a *very* important point - make sure you connect another disk to the computer - internal, external or even pen drive (if data size is less) to save the recovered data to - do not save anything back to the original drive, or you will suffer data loss.

Keep calm, and try for the best!

i think easeus partition manager can also help

there is no option in Easeus Partition manager to recover files, it is only for doing partitions. so, it won't help.

I used "stellar phoenix data recovery software" which is a very good software and i am able to recover all my data with very ease. Thanks everyone for sharing your thoughts and knowledge.
