Is the above file important for some app ?

if yes, how do recover it ?

i gave the command rm -Rfv /*/*/*/*/*opera* when that file was deleted mistakenly.

How to recover this ?

FS= ext3

and Lots of writes have taken place after that. (FF and SQUID Cache).

I see right through you.
First off, that was kind of stupid. (The rm ... part)

Secondly, you can't recover a file you've deleted, so you'll have to get a new copy of the file. I've attached my operator.so . I'm also using python2.5 and F7, so you should be alright with it. If it doesn't work, or you don't trust the file, download a source tarball of python and take the file from it.
