Used Dell Inspiron 1545 or Dell inspiron 1464? Its Urgent Plz...

First the Dell Inspiron1545 -
Purchased october 2009.
Processor: core2duo t6600 (2.2 GHz)
3 GB DDR2 RAM
320 GB western digital sata hard drive
15.6 inch high definition LCD screen
Sony dual layer dvd writer
Bought in August `09.
He will also provide the original belkin laptop bag.

Asking for Rs.23000. May get reduced to around 18000-20000.

Inspiron 1464 -

5 months old.
Processor - core i3
Ram - 4gb
500gb hard disk
windows 7
7 months of accidental warranty left.

Asking for Rs.27000.
Havent spoken to him yet.

The guy with 1545 tells me that Dell has 1.5yrs warranty. Is that true?

Now which will be a better one according to price, usuage and config?

What according to you should be the price for these models?

Regarding 1545's warranty, ask that guy to provide you the serial number and check with Dell Support regarding warranty left.

Even if there is 1.5yr warranty and if you can get the laptop for 20k, you get brand new models (from Lenovo, Acer and Compaq) for some 25k that run on similar hardware.

Same is the case with 1464. why do you want to pay 27k for a used laptop when you get a brand new inspiron for 4k-5k more.

ideal price:

1464: 20k-22k
1545: 15k-17k

Thank you for ur suggestion. They didnt reduce their price and i didnt buy any of those. Instead I bought the hp 110-3105tu mini lappy. Thanks again.
