use of shutdown -i command

Guys
on executing shutdown -i in the run command , a "remote shutdown dialog "box opens. Can anyone tell me whats its use . It has an add computer option but when i try to add Others computer on my LAN using the ip it does not work but on typing your own ip it works .

its simply a GUI for shutdown command where you can see all the optional components.
you need to put your computer name ( or any other computer in your domain )

write "shutdown /?" in command prompt and you will all available options for shutdown command. the "-i" tag displays a GUI for the same.
