USBflash drive Data invisible

I am using 4GB pen drive.I have all my documents in that.all of suddend from yesterday i can see only my word files only.i can't see any of my folders.when i check the usb properties it shows 3.4GB my data size.i try to scan with kaspersky ,solo,symantec,it scans all the folders and files but i can see any folders.in the scanning process it shows the all the folders.when i explore the usb i can't see any.how to over come this problem.I did the following
show hidden folders in Windows control panel>folder options>view tab>apply>ok

but still i can't see my folders in the usb.

try using this:
Search:All files and folders:Name of folder:Advanced options:Show hidden files and folders
If this doesn't work try any file recovery devices
After you get all the files out then Format the pendrive.Also see the manufacturers site if its a reputed brand like transcend or kingston and send a mail to the customer service they may help you out further

edit:If same thing is happening in whole computer
