USB to Ethernet Adapters??? will it work for printers

Hello

I have a small query....

while surfing i stumbled on the USB to Ethernet adapter...
I want to know if i can use it to connect normal MFD printer to LAN using this??

Please help me out....

only if there is some device on network assigning ip address to usb ethernet adapter(modem or router with more than 1 lan port).
