USB Modem in SuSE

Hi,
I am a linux newbie and I have a Huawei Quidway WA1003A modem connected to my PC through a USB port. I want to connect to the net, how do I proceed.I have OpenSuse 10.1.How will i configure it?Please try tell everything in detail.

dsl modem via usb in linux is still a problem.however through lan its a breeze.u will have hard time!try get a lan card for 200bucks and sleep cool
