urgent help needed with browsers

hi im encountering a strange problem. all the images,websites, backgrounds are not displaying correctly in any browsers i have installed. i have ie6,firefox 3.0.5. not a virus problem coz i have an updated avg. n i have tried all the tips offered at support.mozilla.com. sometimes it works but after reboot it starts again. i have no addons n i use the default theme in firefox. plz help real urjent
