Urgent 6600 problem!!

guys , my friend's nokia 6600's bluetooth , file manager and many things ar not working .

i tried *#7370# method but the problem remains , and the phone is terribaly slow . need your help ,

formatted memory card

gallery is stuck at "opening" screen

if we can do flashing and all in Nokia , please let me know

1. Turn your device off.

2. Press and hold 3 keys; Green dial key, * Star key, no. 3 key on keypad Together.

3. Turn your device on while you are pressing the three buttons.

4. You should now see "Formatting .." on the Screen! Leave the buttons now.

once done to be safe fromat the mmc also if problem persists

but i think u shud also upgrade ur 6600 firmware
old one has loads of Bugs

Tell them all to do firmware upgrade,maintainence etc.

No you cannot upgrade the firmware at home.
AFAIK 6600 doesn't support nokia phone updater software.
You have to give it to nokia care.

That problem you're facing is common in a particular firmware of 6600. I've seen many people facing it. Bluetooth not working, gallery not opening, calendar not working and some other such stuff. You'll need to upgrade your firmware to the latest one (a job only nokia service centre will do).

Even I had the same problem . Actually I dropped the mobile in water while playing and ahd faced the same problem. My bluetooth device was not working properly,also whensoever I try to open the gallery the opening files appear on the screen. The main problem behind this is of bluetooth device which is to be changed . Hope this may help.
