URGENT :0 -----> Dual Booting, First Edgy then XP

Right off the assembly line

I am in a dilema. I had installed Ubuntu 6.10 for quite a few months and thought i had got rid of windows, but i need windows for a project i am doing.

So i installed windows xp and Grub was gone, i could boot into XP but not to Ubuntu.

/dev/hda1 Swap

/dev/hda2 / and /boot

So i googled and from this page i installed Grub, and now i cannot boot into XP.:mad:

What i did.

Code: 
sudo grub

Code: 
find /boot/grub/stage1

Code: 
root (hd?,?)
hd0,1

Code: 
setup (hd0)

Code: 
quit

I ran this from the live cd.

What to do now? If i reinstall windows again Grub will be gone again. This could go on forever.

Is there someway i can edit some files so i can boot into both OS.
