Hey all..
I was planning to build a new desktop system and i've got my hands on an old desktop from someone who was getting rid of his.
Its an HP Pavilion 714a, with a Pentium 4 2.8Ghz Processor, an NVidia GeForce 4200 Graphics card. Now to get it running I plan to get a 1GB Ram (DDR, so it's gonna be expensive), and a DVD Writer. Is it worth upgrading these to get it up and running or should I build a new system all together? I was planning to get an AMD X2 4400+ .. with components on those lines...
Any suggestions? New system? or upgrade?
