Yesterday when I restarted my PC, i found this strange problem in display graphics. I searched internet for this problem but not able to find the cause of this problem. Please help me. I don't know where the fault is- motherboard, graphics card, CPU or RAM. I have added the link of some pictures to explain my problem.

Computer configuration :
Intel Pentium D, 2.8 GHz
512 x 2 DDR RAM
XFX 6200 ALE 256 MB Graphics Card
80 GB internal HDD
320 GB external HDD
(There is no problem with my monitor)

faulty/dirty RAM

take both RAMs out. clean the pins with cotton - the stick and slot.

replace one-by-one to see which one was causing the prob

Thank you very much for your reply. :)
I have vacuum cleaned my RAM.
Can you pls suggest me some other way to clean RAM.

I would also like to upgrade my PC so that it supports DDR2 RAM and PCI-E Graphics Card without changing my Processor (Intel Pentium D 820, LGA775 ).
I know my PC is old.
I have new laptop, but I don't wanna loose this ol' desktop. Using a desktop is much comfortable than laptop.

Can you suggest me what components should I use to get descent performance without spending much?

Your solution didn't worked man. Now my PC keep restarting. Even the POST dont appear. It get restarted. I have to reset BIOS by removing the CMOS and the jumper to get my PC started properly.

@Bubusam13 : Follow this

1.Open your cabinet & disconnect the Graphics Card.
2. Clean the Surface with a clean cloth, after you being ESD protected or wear your shoes to protect your GPU electronics components from damage.
3. Connect it back properly in the MOBO.
4. Switch on the PC & go to the BIOS & change the display to GPU from IGP.

Verify & let us know, if problem persists.
