Unlocked P4 processor 560 (3.6 ghz) from FSB 800 to 1024

    Check the above link where the prescott p4 3.6 ghz processor has been overlcocked and some real good benchies like video encoding directx encoding etc have been done .

    Seems Athlon64 have got themselved a serious competittor for the first time after their launch on sept 23rd 2003 :)


    Any comments ?

    Not much difference performance vise.
    But if u consider the Price/Performance factor then
    intel is nowhere near Amd.
    Its as if Intel not exisisting in the 64 Bit catagory.

    yup u are correct , the only thing which bothers me is that the amd64's are not got overclockers as the p4 prescotts' , bothers me a lot actually :-( , well keeping my fingers crossed for the dual core 64's :)

    wait for 6xx series to come :) from intel.....they seem to be promising !
