Uninstalling Win XP

Hi all,

I have installed the Win XP from Bootable CD .....Now how to uninstall
the Win XP from my system...or to format my C: drive.My Floppy Disk in not working....I Think this a silly question....But still i want help.....

well bud u cant uninstall Xp like other softs ....what u can do is boot thru a CD(as ur floppy not working) and format the part where Xp is loaded.....

or Download Bootit NG create a Bootable CD and then format ur c: with it..more info Here

You can only unistall XP if you've upgraded to XP from Windows Me or Windows 98.

If you are uninstalling XP because you want to install another version of Windows like Win 98, then visit:
*www.petri.co.il/install_windows_98_after_windows_xp.htm

Otherwise, uninstall XP using the link given by navjot. To format C:, boot using the XP CD and when the partition-creation step comes, format or delete any partition you want from there.

well jsut insert the win98 setup disk and it will delete everything (use the wizard u know) (what happened with me accedently formatted my winxp)

go try that

if u have dual boot & winXP is not on ur Primary dos partition.... then go to ur other OS & just format the HDD... or if u have only winXP installed & u want to install any other os.... then just go with that installetion & format the OS drive when it ask u for it....

Well,just format that partition instead of uninstalling.
Insted of floppy boot via XP bootable CD.
