Unable to print. Help!! Urgent!!

I have HP PSC 1400. Drivers are installed. Device is running up. Kernel is latest updated on 8/5/07. Before updation, printing worked. Now not working. Desktop Environment=XFCE4+GNOME

Print cmd accepted but no action.

i would recommend downloading and installing HPLIP. it solved my problem, on Fedora Core 6. i think that your printer is supported.

hplip is already installed. it was working b4 i updated my system on 8/5/07.

i think that hplip has a a new version, released a few days back. try installing that from source. also, do u have the latest version of CUPS?

I don't which version of CUPS i have. Anyways thanx 4 the info. I may update my HPLIP and CUPS later.

FC5 used to print fine with me, but on upgrading to FC6, printing didnt work. upgrading to latest HPLIP drivers, and CUPS worked.
