This is a question which i am seeking answer too. I heard kubuntu has stability issues, is that true?

^^not kubuntu but the kde version they are using in the latest version.It's pretty buggy as of now but looks amazing when it works.

edubuntu doesn't come as live cd it is direct install.It uses gnome I think.Its basically used to networking in school\colleges.
