Tyan, a name known to mostly those who are into workstation hardware cos Tyan is one of the best Workstation motherboard manufacturer for X86 platform, has relesed there latest TyanPSC T-650 series Personal Supercomputer.

The way it is made is littrally a supercomputer, following the method used in making a super computer with the clusters etc.

It contains Dual, quad-core Intel Xeon L5320 processors clocked at 1.86 GHz power each node resulting in a total of 40 cores. It is made usually for small & medium bussiness hence the price of $ 20,000 only.

The quad-core Xeon processors consume 50-watts per processor. Tyan rates the TyanPSC T-650 as consuming a maximum of 1400-watts total, with 40 CPU cores, while producing less than 52 decibels of noise.

Now that is what I call a Certified Computing beast. :D Add to this sone Geforce 8800 or Radeon R600 GPUs using Cuda Technology\ Stream engine & you have a teraflop cruncher.

or just buy a PS3 with cell CPU.
