TV-Out From GFX card

I have TV out pin in ny new BIG's NVIDIA GeForce 6600 256 MB (non GT) Card. I tried connecting to an old TV but i failed.

Please tell me how to connect my comp to the tv.

Is there should be any special requirement to the tv?

The TV Should have an Audio Video cable, ie a (red/yellow/white) cable. Connect your my vivo connector to the Card and it's other end to the yellow color cable. Connect that end of the cable to Video-in socket of your TV. The text and the screen wud be blurry, but movies will be good..

and its cd also came with a tv software...can i also get tv in?like a tv tuner card? i hve the exact same model as navin

i have a XFX 6600 256 and it also has a TV O/P but the the cable provided with it is a S-Video cable,,, one end goes into the GPU and but the other end of the cable is round (no red/yellow/white) so does this mean i have to buy another wire from the market????

@ Cryptid - u have to buy a s-video to composite converter.

so the connector that connects the "cable"-i hope u understand what i mean here- is a composite converter?or the one with three different wires is called the composite connector
