Yeah, I searched many threads for the solution, tried them but didn't seem to work.
On my windows 7 laptop, the connection comes out as "unidentified public network" and I can't do anything about it. I tried adding the IP and/or even went with the automatic IP detection part. Still, I was not able to connect the 2 laptops (1 with xp, the other with win 7)
I also tried creating the ad-hoc network but to no avail.
Googled and many reported there's a cumbersome task involved with this.
Does anyone have a step by step guide to connect 2 laptops (without internet/wifi)?
