trouble after dual boot win7+ubuntu linux

i made dual boot with win7+ubuntu linux

removed the boot selection menu using "easy bcd 2.1.2"

restarted system

now system hanging and showing only 'starting windows' not going forward

even startup repair is not helping it take about 1 hr.

i cant formate the disk it have a 'bit locker encrypted' drive with some very needed office document's

plz help...

use a linux live cd (ubuntu one is recommended) to reset/repair the grub.
windows cant do that.

Choose "Start using live cd ubuntu without installing"

find /boot/grub/stage1

then you will get the output in this format : (hd?,?) (example : (hd0,1))

#step 6
type command bellow
root (hd0,1) <---- this is the output of the last step

#step 7
type command bellow
setup (hd0)

#step 8
exit from terminal

#step 9
restart Ubuntu then enter BIOS to set boot to HDD

finish..

if, at any point, you dont understand, ASK FIRST.
dont rush in blindly, as you might do even more damage with a misplaced command

the great windows 'win 7' started it's famous error "windows explorer not responding" msg 5 times/1 min.

boy asked his friends and they told him to try ubuntu linux once.

boy started to install 'ubuntu 10.10 as dual boot with win7
in between somewhere power gone.

after that he once again tried and sucessfully installed 10.10 and he discoverd that no supported driver to his "1gb radeon hd5670"

and now he saw a mess in "disk management" like this

Drive c:30 gb
:5.7 gb
:300 mb
Drive d:29 gb
Drive e:32 gb (bitlocker encrypted)
Drive f:31 gb
:5.3 gb
:300 mb

and now boy wanted to clean this mess and saw a video on 'youtube' to clear this and downloaded and installed "easy bcd 2.1.2" and then he sucessfully removed ubuntu boot loader, and head to the "disk management".
boy 1st click the 300 mb drive and hit the delete key,

system hanged. and he press the restart button.

now system hanging in between "startup repair" not moving forward even after 1hour wait.
boy loaded "hiren boot cd" but 'mini xp' not loading.
then he removed his 'hdd' vola now 'mini xp' loading.

2day boy discovered another problem his "express gate" in asus mobo is responding very slowly.

now he cant do take any wrong step,
boy looked in mirror but their he saw a monkey face.

plz help to complete this story.........

does ubuntu do any entry in 'bios' b'coz i had already reset the bios but still asus express gate is responding very badly.
But i think i can't update bios now b'coz somewhere i read that 'bitlocker encryption' is linked with it.???

support guy asks boy-as-monkey for screenshots of gparted.

you were doing the right thing. linux after windows, always.
there are drivers for amd cards, try harder.
easy bcd is an arcane tool. tried it once, never touched it again. waaaay too powerful, and not enough documentation.

rule 1:
NEVER use windows for doing any kind of forensic/sensitive work

rule 2:
gparted is the tool to use when dealing with partitions.

get me a gparted screenshot of the hdd (use a live cd)

Open the Terminal/Konsole and type fdisk -l. It will give a list of all partitions on all of your drives. Just copy the output and paste it here.

Try Wondershare Live Boot 2012 and fix MBR. Very useful too. You can make a bootable Windows CD or USB which will serve the purpose. But it is not free.

but nothing happened
guys i'm now running ubuntu from live-cd not frm hard disk, so i suspect will these commands works.

These commands work fine. It looks like space is missing between fdisk and -l.

sudo   fdisk   -l

Post screenshot of output, if possible. There is a ScreenShot utility in Ubuntu's Menu.

you do know after reading that thread that system drive may not necessarily be C.it can be D & in your case after such mess of partitions can be E,F,G.....have you tried all these letters or did you just stopped after trying C?read that thread once more this time with more attention,try the steps & then respond.

windows installation disk showing my disk as 149gb unallocated space
but my disk is actually 160 gb
with 4 equal partitions and win7 os in c:
