when i attach charger the touchpad of my laptop(hp g4-2049tx) does not work properly., and it works fine after detaching charger.
dont know wot problem arises at d time of power supply..

Try driver update it will do my friend was also having similar problem updated his driver and now it is working fine.

i dint reinstalled any driver yet.

@Shadow...
shud i reinstall old driver or dwld new driver den install...?

what is ur driver version now?? Mine's 16.2.10.12
When i first installed win 8 here, it automatically installed some synaptics driver and then later i downloaded the latest driver from hp site and installed by over-writing the present one i had. May be i shud clean install it again by completely removing whole of the driver's traces.

Dude the touchpad works fine when there's no sweat over it.. or else it sits there n doesn't move like it should..

This can be due to poor earthing in your plug outlet. Go to a power outlet where you know that the earthing is fine and try again.
Also go to safe mode (press F8 when booting just after BIOS) and see if the problem occurs in safe mode (if it does, your drivers are fine)
