Hi

I have Airtel 256Kbps Unlimited connection. No torrent software ever seems to work. What should I do?

It seems that the port is not configured properly, how should I go about it?

I Always Prefer 1080p
Use Azureus and after installation is completed,it would guide you via its configuration wizard to finish the steps to allow traffic via a firewall and other config such as UL/DL rates, etc

Enjoy

Bittorrent has started to work out of the blue but takes a long time to actually start downloading and is very very slow.

In the zone
use Utorrent ... config is really Simple ... Works Really with Ports Forward...

I have downloaded about 11GB in BitComet and it is a breeze. Even I use Airtel. Disable the firewall of the line that comes when installing the connection and NOT ZONEALARM. Download torrents where seeders are more and leechers are less. Download torrents which have minimum of 4 - 5 seeders only if it is about 100MB and atleast 15 and above if it is in GB. Follow this religiously. Don't get stuck to one single tracker. Search "Torrent tracker list" on google to get a long list of trackers. Search for the torrent in some trackers and see which one has largest number of trackers. DO NOT LIMIT YOUR UPLOAD SPEED. IT IS DIRECTLY PROPORTIONAL TO YOUR DOWNLOAD SPEED.
