I've been there. Until and unless the couple is extremely religious, won't recommend it for a honeymoon trip. If hill stations are required, go to Ooty and Manali.
Yeah I have been there too. But except religious angle, I'd say those places are great considering nature and environment too.

Our blankets were soaked in dew drops during summer afternoons in Yamunotri. That's how it is there.
Gangotri has more comfortable and pleasant atmosphere.
Kedarnath is harsh. Plus the 14-15 km hike to the temple is really tiring.
Badrinath gets pleasant again.
Haridwar and rishikesh can be visited literally any time of the year.

Yes. The toy train has been shut down.
It now runs from Darjeeling to Ghum - Joy Ride.

The bus train ride is horrible rather taking a private vehicle will be a memorable experience...krishnandu.sarkar

Well Toy Train ride from NJP to Darjeeling has it's own charm. Anyway we don't have any other option now other than cabs.
