I need a set of speakers purely for music. I easily spend at least twelve hours a day doing just that. And I don't need bass thats gonna send me off to ass thumpin frenzyville. I do to some electronica but major chunks are gonna be rock and metal. Some dream-pop and jazz every once in a while. Clarity is what I require most, across the board.
Space - My room is tiiiiny. About ten by eight with a wardrobe in it.
And, finally, the ball busting budget - Can I get a good set for 3k ish? If so, do I have options?
I have gone through some previous threads. The F&D 520 seems to be the most popular choice in my range but it seems to be more of a bass heavy speaker and sadly, the Creative T3100 seems to be discontinued.
