taking out the music from the video

i had some music videos and i wanted to get the mp3 of the audio playing in the video is it possible

could anyone recommand some software free ones are prefered

use it !!!!!

U Can Get Loads Of Software on the net
But What matters the most is in what format
are the videos [.avi, .mpg, .mov, .rm etc.....]

The Software I can tell u till now is Tmpeg
for demuxing video files

Just do a search in google "help on demuxing videos" you will get a lot of in deep information and
various software ppl use

well 100% working..some may find it tidious
get audacity its free and given many times in digit
fire audacity..play the video file fm ur fav player..when u want to record the sound ..fm movie ..click on record button in audacity ..it will record it for u..
also u can edit the length easily

ok open the WMP
open the Sound recorder
select mono mix as input sound instead of line in or microphone

play the video file
click on record !

thats finished you get the music and entertainment simultaneously
