I HAVE AMD 2600+ WITH ASUS A7V MX-400 MOTHER BOARD
WITH 80 GB HARD DISK 512 RAM
DUAL BOOTED WITH 98 ON C: DRIVE & XP PRO ON D: DRIVE
IN XP PRO WHEN EVER I GO TO ACCESSORIES - SYSTEM TOOL - SYSTEM INFORMATIO MY PC DOES NOT SHOW SYSTEM INFORMATION
BUT IN 98 THE SAME SYSTEM INFORMATION MENU IS WORKING PROPERLY WHAT IS PROB

I CHECK THE MY PC FOR VIRUS WITH NORTON 2006 AND AVG THEIR IS NO VIRUS IN MY PC

PLEASE LET ME KNOW

Can u pls give more information about ur problem?

What exactly happens when u open System Information in XP? Does it show ne ERROR message?

Pls provide a screenshot if possible!

some problem with ur winxp installation, did u have to ignore any file while installation

NO PROBLEM WITH XP INSTALLATION I USED AUTO PATCHER WITH DIGIT CD AFTER THAT PROBLEM BEGIN

Start -> Run and type following:

%systemdrive%\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\MSInfo\msinfo32.exe

If it opens System Information window, then there is some problem in the shortcut, otherwise u may hv deleted the required file from ur system!

if it doesn't show system properties [ winkey+pause ] ... then ... kill rundll.exe, and try again...
check ur RAM for dust/corruption
