System clock gone haywire

dunno wat the reason of the problem is ..but

My system clock (the rtaskbar clock) seems to be not working properly ..meaning it is running late ...
even if i had set it to the current time again and again
its lagging :sad::confused:

Also many times while booting its showing that the sys date n time is not set and i hav to set it evwery time through Setup.:sad: ok this may be a case of CMOS battey prblm but wat about sysdate n time?


checking CMOS battery ...any other suggestions (software) ....;)

Its the famous CMOS Battery Gone dead case.. Replace the battery its hardly costs 15-20 bucks. The time which is shown in taskbar is in sync with BIOS clock.. unless you have changes it to a different time zone.
