Broken In
OS Problem for Asus M3A78-EM & Amd X2 6000+ & 2x2Gb RAM
Hello Friends,
I have recently bought Asus M3A78-EM and Amd Athlon x2 6000+ with 2x2Gb Kingston 800Mhz DDR2. & W.D 320Gb Sata hdd.
As it is suggested that 32-bit Windows will show only 3 Gb RAM (..given in Mobo Manual), I tried to install 64-bit Windows Vista. But i am facing the problem of booting the O.S. Only few times i was able to go thorugh all the basic installations properly, there after the O.S hangs on during the boot (loading) Window only.
Note.
*O.S starts in safe mode but as soon as i restart for normal mode, same prob occurs.
*I have tried with 64-bit Windows XP also, same problem occurs.
*RAM has been installed in 2 sockets as given in mobo manual.
Can anyone highght on what the problem might be, Is the problem with RAM or anything else ?
