Suitable Gaming processor for Mobo

Hello I have an Asus M4A88TD EVO USB 3.0 mobo. I am searching for a suitable gaming processor. Dont wanna spend much. Is there any between 4-6k. Also a PSU.

Officially, of the M4A series motherboards support current AM3+ processors and support only older Phenom II and Athlon II Processors which are extreme hard to find now a days.. However, there are certain unofficial modified BIOS available which enables the AM3+ support in your motherboard. But I am not sure how much stable they are gonna be. Better sell of that motherboard and get a AM3+ motherboard
