Suggestions regarding i5-based rig [30K-32K - CPU Only]

1. What is the purpose of the computer? What all applications and games are you going to run? (Stupid answers like 'gaming' or 'office work' will not work. Be exact. Which games? Which applications? Avoid the word 'et cetera.')
Ans: Mainly Photoshop and Illustrator CS6, Games like Arkham Asylum, Arkham City, GTA4, GTA5, Call of Duty, Just Cause, and some other FPS.

2. What is your overall budget? If you can extend a bit for a more balanced configuration, then mention this too.
Ans: 30K . Can extend upto 32K.

3. Planning to overclock?
Ans: No

4. Which Operating System are you planning to use?
Ans: Windows 7 x64

5. How much hard drive space is needed?
Ans: Already own a Samsung HDD 500GB which I am planning to re-use.

6. Do you want to buy a monitor? If yes, please mention which screen size and resolution do you want. If you already have a monitor and want to reuse it, again mention the size and resolution of monitor you have.
Ans: No. Already have a 22" Benq G2220HD LCD

7. Which components you DON'T want to buy or which components you already have and plan on reusing?
Ans: I don't want to buy following components:
Monitor/LCD - Already have Benq 22" G2220HD.
UPS - Already own a Numeric UPS [I think it is of 600W, if it can't bear the load then please let me know which UPS to go for]
Hard Disk - Already have Samsung HDD 500GB

8. When are you planning to buy the system?
Ans: Within 1 week

9. Have you ever built a desktop before or will this be done by an assembler?
Ans: Will assemble myself

10. Where do you live? Are you buying locally? Are you open to buying stuff from online shops if you don't get locally?
Ans: Chandigarh, Delhi or Online via Flipkart

11. Anything else which you would like to say?
Ans: Following components are which I have already finalized:
Processor - Intel 3.4 GHz LGA1155 Core i5 3570K
Mouse - Lenovo M6811

I want suggestions on a good motherboard & graphic card which can handle my requirements and are within my budget.
Also please suggest a descent cabinet which can keep my system considerably cool. Cooler Master HAF 912 Combat Mid Tower cabinet looks awesome to me.

buddy you won;t need i5 k cpu if you donot want to overclock cpu.as cpu + mobo for oc itself costs rs 26k lol. go with locked i5.

​you need atleat 40k to get best gpu otherwise you will only get hd 7790 in your budget

or you already have i5 3570k ?

Well No, currently I don't have an i5-3570k but from the reviews it looked promising to me.
Can you tell me which locked i5 would suit my needs if not this one? One thing is for sure, I need a quad-core

You can also look for i5 3550 too. Also, if you wanna go with the latest Intel Haswell based Processors then i5 4430 + H87 Motherboard from MSI is also a good choice.

Wow! I didn't know that 4th Gen. i5 is available on Flipkart. This one looks quite amazing.
Can you please also tell me how much this MSI H87 will cost?

G-skill ripjaws x 4gb ram2200/-
Corsair Gs 500w psu3500/-
Saphhire hd 7790 1gb ddr510000/-
Cooler Master HAF 912 Combat Mid Tower Cabinet5400/-
OR
Cooler Master Centurion 6 ATX Mid Cabinet - Silver (RC-610-SKN1)5025/-

I was unable to find a cheaper cabinet for microATX motherboard on Flipkart as well as TheITDepot. If you have any suggestions regarding this, please share.

See, you don't need to get such an expensive cabinet when you are compromising on other parts. Opt for a cheaper cabinet and get a better graphic card. Are where are you getting GS500 for 3500? Check the price again.

^^ 4.8 k cabby on a 30-32 K machine is ,IMO, inappropriate..

IMo,
better go for cabbies like Gamma or like that. (i mean in that price range..)
and you can get a better GC with the money saved.

and yes.. IMO, 400r is better than HAF 912 anyday..

Thanks guys for sharing your views.
The thing is that in the microATX form factor support I was able to find only these two cabinets.
It's not like that I want to spend 5k on a cabinet only.
What I need is suggestions from you for a cabinet in the range of 2k-2.5k ... :)

The rest of the rig is fine. I think hd 7790 will suffice my needs. So I don't want to opt for a better GC than this.

@Ashish, the thing is i5 3470 is at 3.2GHz. whereas the Intel Core i5-3570 which I have considered is at 3.4GHz.. would that make any big difference in the performance of the system?

^ no difference in gaming may be 1-4 fps,even you cannot notice in naked eyes.

Get Nzxt gamma @2.5k or nzxt source elite 210 (with side window) @2.9k cabinets

Also the price of Corsair CX500 is 3500/- , GS500 is at 4300/- on TheITDepot. So tweaked the PSU too.
Tell me whether the CX500 would suffice for this system?

This is the config now:

Intel Core i5-347012000/-

Saphhire hd 7790 1gb ddr510000/-
Nzxt gamma2500/-

Also please suggest any online shop where NZXT Gamma is available, NZXT cabinets are not available on Flipkart, TheITDepot or Snapdeal.
On Snapdeal I was able to find another cabinet Cooler Master Elite 311 CPU. How does that compare to this NZXT Gamma?

Get seasonic s12 520w @rs 3900 (5 year warranty)

Gamma is better than elite one in build quality and cable management
