Monitor - Dell SP2208WFP 22" - 16.5K
Optical Drive - (Already have one)
Speakers - (Already have Logitech X540)

A bit costly cpu, ram n board. Even kbd+mouse

Get abit x48quadgt n psu corsair hx620.. Ammo cabby is nice. Bt i wud prefr cm690. Also since u getin heavy rig go for a cooler too- tru-120 or zeotherm nirvana. Actualy u can get 3870x2 with sme adjustments.

It is Abit ix38 quadgt

^^If he can afford that than let him buy it. Dont push everyone to buy an abit mobo. Dude ur PC is a monster. Tip- by saving money on some other components get a MSI 9800GTX 512MB. But its ur call and this config is also killer

This one costs around 11.5k

The one with Zalman cooler should cost around2k-3k more for 512MB card.

XFX 8800GT XXX = heat issues..
MSI 8800GT OC , the one with custom cooler = Perfect
PSU= Cooler MAster REal Power Pro 550 W - this is the one u should get.Its more efficient than the one u chose.

Rest all great..

Also why recommend 9800GTX to someone when this card is not worth anything. even 9600 SLI beats it..

yea..but 8800GT is 6k cheaper.. and if u go SLi 9800GT comes nowhere close.

8800GT + 8600GT in SLI should beat 9800GT right? Moreover, thisway, it's still 2k-3k cheaper. 11.5k + 4.5k (both msi cards).

Is it possible to use these two different cards in SLI?
