1. What is the purpose of the computer? What all applications and games are you going to run? (Stupid answers like 'gaming' or 'office work' will not work. Be exact. Which games? Which applications? Avoid the word 'et cetera.')

Ans: Browsing the internet and playing online videos, watching movies, minor document editing etc

2. What is your overall budget? If you can extend a bit for a more balanced configuration, then mention this too.

Ans: Below 40K

3. Planning to overclock?

Ans: NO

4. Which Operating System are you planning to use?

Ans: Ubuntu

5. How much hard drive space is needed?

Ans: 1 TB

6. Do you want to buy a monitor? If yes, please mention which screen size and resolution do you want. If you already have a monitor and want to reuse it, again mention the size and resolution of monitor you have.

Ans: May be 20 inch

7. Which components you DON'T want to buy or which components you already have and plan on reusing?

Ans: Cosair CX430 PSU

8. When are you planning to buy the system?

Ans: Within 1 Month

9. Have you ever built a desktop before or will this be done by an assembler?

Ans: Yes

10. Where do you live? Are you buying locally? Are you open to buying stuff from online shops if you don't get locally?

Ans: Bhubaneswar, Odisha

11. Anything else which you would like to say?

Ans: Will INTEL I3/celeon NUC can survive the Heat as there is no AC in the Apartment?

Dell S2240l is available for 8k in amazon.in.. you might want to order it asap as it is a component, you will have to buy anyway.. regardless of others

HIGHLY RECOMMEND you avoid snapdeal at all costs, and go for HyperX Fury only !! Do not go for normal RAM from Kingston/Transcend or Adata
(Ebay powerseller is selling brand new HyperXFury for 2.3k )

not if you get I2369VM for 9k anywhere :p
also why avoid snapdeal? :O never had problems
and actually the mobo supports max 1600MHz only so 1866MHz of HyperXFury is a waste :p but its a great RAM nonetheless :D
BTW link to the deal?

Kingston Hyperx Fury 4GB DDR3 1866 MHZ Destop Memory Gaming RAM RAM | eBay

Im about to order one myself from this seller...guy is not a powerseller but he has sold more than 65% of his stock, at 2.3k this is an excellent price.. I would recommend contacting him via phone and asking about warranty details ..
OT:Regarding snapdeal, i have had terrible terrible experience..

Ordered a 360 controller from there, found it was fake.. returned it, waited half a month for refund so i can order again..
Ordered a transcend DDR3 RAM, found it was fake... returned it, waited 1 week for refund :x Then ordered from amazon.in ( I realised later, it was the same seller but with a different name), again found it was fake (wtf ?), now waiting for a refund :x :x :x
I m starting to think im jinxed in some way...
Really really bad experience buying thingies recently.. Without that extra 4 GB RAM, i am unable to work on Unity

Also, since OP lives in my own city, I can link him several stores right here, that might help him get some stuff @ cheaper rates

OP try Gadget's world and Nigam Computech in Saheed Nagar..
Also try SA Infosys, my brother purchased an OCZ memory kit a few years back from here and it was the only store that kept that kind of RAM
