You've chosen an AMD Motherboard with an Intel Processor. They aren't compatible with each other. Please fill up the questions in *www.thinkdigit.com/forum/pc-compon...new-pc-help-answer-these-questions-first.html and post it here.

hmmm, thats why I thought of taking suugestions...
anyways. here's the required Q&A:

1. What is the purpose of the computer? What all applications and games are you going to run? (Stupid answers like 'gaming' or 'office work' will not work. Be exact. Which games? Which applications? Avoid the word 'et cetera.')
Ans: For Playing high-end games like Max Payne 3, Mass Effect 3, Batman Arkham City and more games like these.

2. What is your overall budget? If you can extend a bit for a more balanced configuration, then mention this too.
Ans:80k(can extend a bit but not too much)

3. Planning to overclock?
Ans: not right now

4. Which Operating System are you planning to use?
Ans: Win 7 64-bit

5. How much hard drive space is needed?
Ans: 2 TB, preferably WD

6. Do you want to buy a monitor? If yes, please mention which screen size and resolution do you want. If you already have a monitor and want to reuse it, again mention the size and resolution of monitor you have.
Ans: don't need a monitor right now

7. Which components you DON'T want to buy or which components you already have and plan on reusing?
Ans: don't need speakers, keyboard & mouse, monitor

8. When are you planning to buy the system?
Ans: Within 2-3 months

9. Have you ever built a desktop before or will this be done by an assembler?
Ans: will be done by an assembler

10. Where do you live? Are you buying locally? Are you open to buying stuff from online shops if you don't get locally?
Ans: I live in Rajpura, Punjab. I'll buy locally and I'm open to buy online but only from flipkart

11. Anything else which you would like to say?
Ans: All products should be from trusted brands as I won't be able to spend money on my PC again in a long span of time
Please give Flipkart link of all items, if possible...

I would recommend you to buy the mintor right now or please mention the resolution of the one you have.
If you are interested in buying the monitor later on, then dont buy the GPU right now otherwise it will be a waste of money.
Soon the Nvidia's GeForce GTX 660Ti will launch and it will be around the same price as that of the Radeon HD 7870 and
will give perfomance much similar to the GTX 670. So I will suggest you to wait and make the correct move.

Intel Core i5 2500k: 12.5k(more than enough for gaming)
ASRock Z77 Extreme6: 13.5k
GSkill RipjawsX 4GB*2 DDR3 1600MHz: 3k
WD Caviar Green 2TB: 6.7k
ASUS 24x SATA DVD writer: 1.1k
Corsair GS600: 4.7k
NZXT Lexa S: 4k
Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO: 2.1k
BenQ G2420HD: 10k
Gigabyte Radeon HD 7870 OC: 22k
Total: 79.6k

Otherwise you can consider this configuration.

Better buy a LED monitor with HDMI port @ DELL ST2220L at Rs. 9k
And,please don't buy Western Digital caviar green HDD,better buy Seagate HDD,Don't worry about the warranty period of HDD,because it's more reliable than WD HDD.

BTW, Don't waste your money buying 2 TB hard disks better get a Seagate 1 TB 7200 RPM HDD @Rs. 5.2k and +buy an OCZ Petrol 64 SSD @ 4.2k and also change your motherboard and get an ASUS P8Z77-M Motherboard ( SLI board) @10k, better performer than ASRock You will get best performance with this balanced rig.

I got a 21.5 inch LCD monitor at cheap price, which is pretty good....
so what should I do???
will this configuration work with that???

about the HDD, I don't really care what brand it is or whats the warranty period or whats the price, I just want reliability, I just don't want any of my data to be lost....
I never had any kind of HDD crash or data loss on my previous pc and laptop and I expect my new pc to be the same....
I preferred WD coz I bought a 2TB WD external hard drive last month and its working fine at least until now, but I can go for Seagate too, just getting some suggestions to help me decide....

I have been using Seagate HDD for around 10 years and its still the same, whereas my brother has one 1 TB hdd of WD which got crashed one time and malfunctioned once more,so from the point of reliability I would personally preferred Seagate.
Now, thousands of people using WD HDD so it's up to you on which you will board on.
