Suggest me a 1 TB Performance internal HDD.

Please help me to select a 1TB HDD.

Frankly I can't afford a SSD, so i have decided to buy a Western Digital Cavair Black 7200RPM 64MB cache 1TB - local guy at annanagar road selling it for 4500.00

Is it worth to have a HDD of such capabilities & can i have some more alternatives.

Reply me asap, as i need to buy tomorrow.

But whats your budget??? You can get a WD VelociRaptor too.

My Max budget is 5k & velociraptor is ultimate, but cost is huge even compared to SSD. Moreover its out of my league.

But how to reduce the boot up time ? Is it something related to HDD or someother parameters ?

Then get WDC Black for 4.5k. Its perfect for ur budget.
I dont think boot time depends on HDD. But if it were a SSD, then there could be some cances. More over how much is ur boot time???
