please suggest me a good UPS for my 17 inch CRT monitor.
my budget is upto 2,500 rs.

rest of the system configuration is :-

Processor :- AMD Phenom II X4 840
Motherboard :- Asus M4A78LT M LE
RAM :- 2x2 GB Kingston DDR3
HDD :- WD 1 TB
PSU :- FSP SAGA II 500W

It will save you Rs.700 and wont dissapoint in performance tpp

Go to local market. Online stores are a bit overpriced that street price all the time, sometimes more than overpriced.

Consider Microtek 800VA too. My rig is connected to this (sans monitor) and gives me half an hour backup easily while doing basic work/internet, or even playing casual games like Bejeweled.

my rig is- athlon ii X2 245 3.0 Ghz, Gigabyte 785GM-US2H, no gfx card, AOC 2236 monitor. I'm having APC RS-600 and and it gives me backup of <10 mins

May be the local market at your place is overpriced or have sort supply of Intex UPS.

Its not that they are overpriced, but we don't have many options to choose from in our city.

Brands like Gskill, FSP or Razer are alien things to them.
