I am impressed with the specifications of Acer 5536. But Acer after sale service in my area is not good. Dell and HP are most popular brands here. So I am confused..........

if aftersales is a priority then go with HP Compaq
but personally i have never faced issues with acer aftersales service

What is the difference between HP Compaq and HP Pavilion?

they are just different brands of HP.. Pavilion is more stylish, costlier
Compaq is the cheaper, value for money

According to Acer Mall in my area Acer 5536 not yet launched in Kerala. But Acer 5542G (not present in Acer India website) is available. Price of Acer 5542G is 35K. Also 4736Z is available and price is 29.7K.
