Please suggest a config for my budget

Hello all..

I have shortlisted few components based on my budget..
My budget is 25k..

I'm planning to buy a PC this weekend. Or, next for sure.. Please help me build a new one .. I don't overclock my PC

1. My budget-
25K (Without GPU, Speaker, DVD Writer)

2. Existing hardware configuration
Sold my PC, retained these 3 - GPU, Speaker, DVD Writer)

3. Hardware I will you be retaining

Speaker
DVD Writer

4. Hardware component I'm looking to buy

Have shortlisted few:

Processor (5 to 6k Max)- Phenom X2 Phenom II X2 - 555 BE (or)
AMD Athlon Quad X4- 635 (or)
Intel i3 530 (If AMD suggest if cooler/ extra fan is required what is the price)
If any better options are available please let me know ..

Motherboard (3.5 to 5k) - Please suggest a motherboard within 3.5k to 5k supports DDR3 and helpful in up-gradation as well.

RAM - DDR3 2GB

Cabinet / SMPS - (Within 4k) Will get a GPU in 2 months time, a DX11. So, suggest a Cabinet/SMPS to satisfy GPU and other components.

HDD - Seagate. Will go for 320 GB. If my budget allows will for 500. Any other suggestions pls specify.

GPU - (Within 5k)Will get DX11 in April or May.Awaiting DX11 card prices to come down.

UPS - (1.5k) Is it required?? If yes, pls suggest a decent one 1.5k.

Monitor - (6 to 7.5k max) - 18.5 to 20" - Samsung/ Dell/ Benq

8. My purpose:
1. Average Gaming
2. Browsing
3. Few multimedia applications - Like corel draw, robohelp, author it, photoshop

9. Brand preference-

Suggest brands which don't generate much noise
My previous 2 PC's were Intel based I had no problems with that. Both were there for 5 years each. Trying new brand(for me) like AMD is not an issue. But, just have a doubt if AMD will get overheated.

Had nVidia card. Trying ATi is not an issue if performance is more or less the same like nVidia

10. Type of games I will be playing -

1. Racing
2. Sports games - FIFA, Cricket, Tennis (All latest), First person shooter games as well. At times I play old games like Age of Empires, Old cricket tennis games also.

Win Xp and Win 7

BenQ 22" G2220 FULL HD LCD Monitor @ 8k
APC 550Va @ 2.2k

total is a bit over ur budget but its the best budget rig u can find. u may switch to 20" monitor to save money but i suggest stick with 22" if ur GPU can handle it. 4Gb ram wil serve ur purpose well. price of 320Gb & 500Gb is too less to get latter 1. if u get a good graphics card, u'll need better UPS. maybe 650Va.

Just a clarification. Whether Athlon X3 which u suggested will be better of the Phenom X2 555 with L3 cache will be better.

i always have a doubt whether to go for more cores or extra cache L3.

if thats the case there would be a conflict between phenom X2 555 BE and athlon X4 635.

Any reasons why u suggested athlon X3 over phenom and athlon X4 .. is it the case of budget or any other reason ..

Will the motherboard suggested by you be compatible with phenom X2 555 BE and athlon X4 635

u won't OC, get athlon2 X3. also ur budget low to include X4. & the 6Mb L3 cache really help is u OC. still X3 r usually recommended for gaming if budget low.

& about performance, it depends on what u use ur PC for. it'll help in games as it gt 3 cores. it'll help u in multimedia apps.

as for mobo, try get the ECS. its a very good mobo. much better than the MSI 1. it'll surely support these processors as they AM3 & mobos support only AM3.
