sugg. software locking/hiding folder/partition portable hdd?

one is searching for any good software to password lock or hide particular folders or a whole partition of a removable storage media(in this case a 'juggad' hdd with NTFS partitions).

After locking/hiding the partitions one should be able to carry it to another pc where that software isnt installed & other will not be able to access the folder/partition.

There are few softwares like these available but need suggesttions for selecting one.

Can anyone suggest some good softwares(both paid & good freeware if available)? it should be fast & easy, stronger encryption doesnt matter.

Lockdown Plus PC v3.51: *www.y0ys.com

Out of these 2, Lockdown is a much better s/w. and will suffice all ur needs or else u can also try Super Utilities 6.2 which is got another 26 utilities to tweak xp & has option to hide folder, exe lock, file shredder, etc. : *www.superlogix.net

thanks for the reply but those programs wont work with one's situation. they can make removable drives read only or entirely lock access to croms & drives to restrict copying of files from ones computer but do not serve locking/hiding purpose of folder/partitions in a removable storage which one might be using in another computer.

nop... which i sugest..is full version...ofcourse u have to get something to use it as full version.
