Subtitles not loading on WMP 11

Hi guys,
I recently installed K-Lite Codec Pack (not mega pack) v7.80 on my Win7 Ultimate over my existing installation of v7.70.
After installation, the subtitles stopped loading.
So I uninstalled it & reverted back to v7.70.
But still the subtitles are not loading.
Kindly help me.

use vlc or mpclassic hc much better than wmp11 also supports hw acceleration i.e take advantage of the gpu u have

What kind of subtitles (ASS, SRT)? When you run the video, do you see a green curved arrow icon (for directvobsub) in your taskbar?

@g_goyal2000: K-lite codec pack never changes the subtitle settings of WMP.
just rename the subtitles file(if they r separate files) to same name of the video file.
e.g: video.avi & video.srt

if the subtitles are hard-coded into the video then just check in WMP 11 options menu if subtitles is ON or not.

Use Vlc or ALLPLAYER.

Try UMPlayer, it can search and download subtitles from the UI itself. Saves you the trouble. I use this just to get the subtitles and play them on VLC
