Strange problem with Internet Speed

Dear friends,

I'm having a big problem with the internet speed while browsing. I'm using "BSNL-Tarang" CDMA internet plan which gives 144kbps speed. I'm getting over 18kBps while downloading via IDM and DAP. But when it comes to browsing, speed becomes too low. If I try to download the same file via IE's default download manager, it get only 3kBps speed. I've tried firefox also. But problem didn't solved. Web page loading is also dead slow.

I had same problem when I was using Reliance RConnect. The problem solves temperorily when I reinstall my OS. But after few days, it comes again. I've scanned my system via Norton and Kaspersky. But no viruses.

So I need help from u experts to overcome from this problem.

may be it\'s due to QoS. 20% of band is reserved by it.

I suggest you to try the connection in a Linux distro like Debian,Ubuntu.

No. I've set it 0% by going to gpedit.msc

But problem still persists.

try another browser..firefox and opera.Than see the result.

i dunno then. it cud be a virus or any malware. try scanning ur comp. with avast.

Probably Your Modem Problem Download Latest Drivers For It And Then Try
