which is your OS?
try something with control panel
may be some regional settings, currency, etc.

Sykora

I see right through you.
Make sure your Locale is set to US_en. That can be done through the accessibility option in contrl panel, I think.

Mad and Furious
Go to Control Panel -> Regional and Language Options
There, under regional options, is a "Customize" button.
Click on it, then under Numbers,
Select Digit Grouping Symbol to ","(Comma), and select the grouping type you want...

Have you recently installed Internet explorer 7.0, Create a Restore point and and remove it, then check for the problem.
