I will explain:
Lets say a page has 10 images and while they are loading he gets idea
from the partial view of the image what they are abt and so he is not interested in them.
But still the image will load and take up bandwidth.
So there should an option in the browsers , when u right click on the loading image u should be able to stop its loading.
I have also felt the need for such an option in browsers.
Bye.

imagine us browsing a forum with a low connection speed and needs to avoid the large sized images and let the smal ones load.
there is an option "Show picture" to resume an image

ok

iam assuming IE....
heres the way...first Q, u have got the idea after the partial load of image and want to cancel further loading.....just do a ESC from keyboard and u r done...

for second Q, if u want no images to b loaded and only selected ones to b, then open Tools-->Internet Options-->Advanced-->and uncheck 'Show Pictures'...
Now right click on the empty frame of any of the pic u want to see and click 'Show Picture'...
i think u r done ....
any more queries?

That dosent appear to be a cleaver approach .

once u click the stop button then all the images will be stopped then the images i need to load too will have to be loaded again .

iam lookin out for an option on right click to stop a particular image so that
the work get easier wihout loosing bandwidth

I use Naviscope as proxy and that gives total control on what is loading on my page.

Just a simple click on the file and that file stops loading.

Umm... You need Maxthon here .. :p ...
Download and Install Maxthon ..
Now in the page where you dont want Images to load do this :
Options > Download Control > Load Images (Uncheck It ) ..
Maxthon rulez :)

In maxthon u get a toolbar button for Download Controls, so u can easily start/stop loading of images, flash, sounds, videos, activeX, javascripts etc to each page. :)
