Speakers under 3000

Hi All,

I have been using Creative 2.1 2500 from past 8 years which are now attached with TV.

Need same quality or better than that under 3000. Have heard that new speakers by Creative are not good as they used to be.

Please note that I don't want to go with F&D.

Please suggest me speakers under 3000 that will give long life and quality (Mainly for gaming and music).
