I have Intel DX58SO mobo(motherboard), what is the compatible impedance and wattage rating required to connect speakers to it?

Moreover, is there any solution, so that speakers can be directly connected without any amplifier.

I have tried connecting several types of speakers forthepurpose, but they couldn't produce what was required. :(

How many speakers can be connected in this manner.

okay.

5.1: Logitech X-540 for 5.5k
2.1: Altec Lansing for 6.5k or Altec Lansing VS4121 for 2.5k or Logitech Z-4 for 4.5k

All desktop speakers come with internal amp and you don't need to buy any other amp.

your mobo has onboard audio, that should be enough for these speakers as I think X58 comes with high quality chip.

But my actual question is: what is the compatible impedance and wattage rating required to connect speakers to it?

first, why do you need to check that?
second, refer your mobos manual and you will find onboard soundchip model number. check it's specs in manufacturers site.
