Sound DRIVers!!!

Guys, I had my new HP Pavillion dv6314tx notebook formatted & have re-installed Windows xp Professional on it. Now I am stuck with the drivers....

I have found most of them but am still not able to find out my audio & modem drivers....

Wheras in HP's website my sound driver appears to be - Conexant High-Definition Audio Driver (But HP has only providd drivers for Windows Vista)

same is the case for my modem drivers, which appears as - Conexant HDAUDIO Soft Data Fax Modem with SmartCP Driver on HP's site....


Everything else has been solved and I can do without the modem but, but, but,

I NEED TO HAVE SOME SOUND FROM MY PC!!!!


Please help!!!!

I am in a desperate need for some AUDIO drivers, please suggest where I can find them......

Check windowsupdate.microsoft.com - Most of the times It also detects proper drivers. Download drivers from there then.

Please extract the Exe file with winrar. Then go to hardware Devices and select the sound drivers and update option.
Then point location to where you extracted the winrar files..
This will def help.
