Soun card help

I have a c-media 8738 souncard, when I plug it into my winxp pro sp2 pc I receive a blue sreen death error and I can't log onto windows. I have a GA-s650GXM motherboard. plz help

probably malfunctioning card.
TRy it in other pc and then tell us what u get there.
