Sony Mylo 2 Is Stylish PSP-Like QWERTY Phone
A mockup of a future Sony handheld has been floating around in the internet for months, but everyone's refresherizing today as more info slips into the tubes. Originally Published by QJ.net, the device looks like a cross between the PSP and a HTC-style QWERTY sliderphone. From the site:

"This image is a mockup of what the next Mylo will look like as supplied by our source who's close to Sony. The word right now is that the Sony Mylo will supposedly provide some features that the Sony PSP has once it's incorporated with the PSP software. As for gaming though, our source says the Mylo's processor is too slow so it won't be able to handle that. And if the Mylo ever gets gaming integration, the Mylo's price would become too steep."
Given the chatter, it looks like there's going to be a CES 2008 Mylo 2 announcement. If that thing is a functioning cellphone and the browser can actually depict complex websites as shown in the mockup, this could appear in time to win "Great Product Rendered Toxic By DRM" for 2008, maintaining Sony's 5-year grip on the award.
