 Look at the performance benchmarks of the MSI and XFX 6600 (non GT). Both cards have identical specifications. As expected, the performance figures are nearly identical too.

 Now look at the MSI and XFX 6800GT benchmarks. Same chipset and specifications on both cards and as expected, identical performance.

 Finally come to the MSI and XFX 6600GT (128 MB) benchmarks. Whoa! Identical specifications but an unbelievable difference in performance. The XFX beats the MSI by 1300 3DMarks in 3DMark 05!!

Now if you look at Anandtech's test of 6600GT's, you'll see a marginal difference in performance (less than 1 fps) between the MSI and XFX 6600GT.

Is Digit trying to fool us or do they actually think there can be such a huge difference between 2 cards based on the same chipset and specs? (especially when other cards by MSI and XFX have identical performance)

the september issue released on 31st august itself.as for ur query the whole article seems badly done as the mid range comparison has no 6600gt from asus,gainward,leadtek(3 of the best 6600gts).the 6600gt 128 mb frm xfx leads and trails the 256mb equally and is priced 3k less but still doesnt get the best buy gold.to top it up 6800ultra from xfx is 56k while 7800gtx is 35k! and 6800ultra sli from asus is 60k!!!!
